About the role
The Volunteer Engagement & Partnerships Manager will design and execute policies that promote volunteerism in support of Singapore's defence objectives. This role works within the Singapore Defence Volunteer Network to build lasting relationships with volunteers, government agencies, and the broader 3P (private, public, people) sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop frameworks and strategic plans for volunteer partnerships and engagement.
- Encourage volunteers to contribute to national security initiatives and act as ambassadors for Singapore’s defence.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders from MINDEF/SAF, as well as private, public and community organisations.
- Monitor and sustain volunteer interest while aligning activities with long‑term strategic goals.
Required profile
- Education in Mass Communication, Arts, Social Sciences or related fields (preferred).
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, meticulous and pleasant disposition.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling pressure and tight deadlines.
- Open to creative challenges and capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
