VP Security By Design Architect

About the role

NETS Group, a leading payments services group operating Singapore's national debit scheme, is looking for a VP Security By Design Architect. The role helps ensure that "Security By Design" principles are followed in the design and implementation of mission-critical financial services used by the Singapore population.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end accountability for the security design of financial services projects and work with project teams to assess security requirements from the outset.
• Test and verify that security requirements are properly implemented and establish secure design patterns for applications.
• Evaluate existing system security postures and recommend enhancements, with familiarity with DevSecOps and shift-left security.
• Stay up to date on cyber threats and security protection, and guide development teams on secure coding, security testing and vulnerability management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, conduct security risk assessments and threat modelling, and support internal and external audits.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of system implementations.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related information security field.
• At least 5 years' experience in security engineering, with deep expertise in one or more security domains.
• At least 3 years' experience in application security.
• Broad understanding of security architecture and how security technologies interact.

Required skills

• Cloud security is a must.
• Familiarity with MAS TRM, PCI DSS and PCI PTS is a must.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of payment and card specifications, standards and protocols is an advantage.
