Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager – Group Finance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager to lead month‑end and year‑end closing, forecasting and budgeting for our Group Finance function. Based at the Jurong Innovation District, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and financial accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end closing, statutory reporting, journal entries, accounting schedules and bank reconciliations.
• Review intercompany reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage daily accounting operations and liaise with AR & AP Shared Services on period‑closing, collections and payments.
• Coordinate statutory audit, prepare financial statements and work with external auditors.
• Handle tax matters including quarterly GST, withholding tax and corporate tax filings.
• Prepare and maintain monthly cash‑flow forecasts and cost‑centre reports.
• Develop and consolidate quarterly forecasts and annual budgets with cost‑centre owners.
• Support allocation and quarterly true‑up of corporate and IT costs.
• Assist in improving financial processes and systems and support other departments as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accountancy; professional accounting certification preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
• Prior external audit experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
