Executive Director – Digital Infrastructure Finance Lead (Asia Pacific)

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking’s Financing Group in Asia Pacific is looking for an Executive Director to lead its Digital Infrastructure Structured Finance pillar. The role combines origination, structuring, execution and portfolio management of digital infrastructure financing across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Digital Infrastructure Structured Finance pillar in Asia Pacific.
• Originate, structure and execute digital infrastructure financing transactions and syndicated corporate loans.
• Drive client discussions, financing strategy, marketing material preparation, term‑sheet negotiation and internal approvals.
• Prepare and review credit papers, financial models, due‑diligence and risk‑return analyses.
• Collaborate with relationship coverage, loan syndications, debt capital markets, legal, credit and market risk, compliance and operations teams.
• Oversee post‑closing portfolio management, including exposure monitoring, covenant compliance, cash‑flow performance and refinancing opportunities.
• Support the broader Financing Group platform and regional franchise development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in digital infrastructure or commercial real‑estate finance, including project or structured finance transactions.
• Proven track record of originating, structuring and closing financing deals.
