Executive Director – INR Rates Trader (Global Banking & Markets)

About the role

Join Goldman Sachs' Asian Macro Trading desk as an Executive Director focused on South Asian macro rates products. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, applying strong analytical abilities and a keen interest in global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Trade and manage South Asian macro rates products, including interest rate swaps, cross‑currency swaps and cash bonds.
• Oversee risk management, pricing, order flow and execution for rates portfolios.
• Handle operational duties linked to risk management and trade processing.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams and institutional clients to expand the rates franchise.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of macro trading experience.
• Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Finance with an excellent academic record.
• Strong Excel spreadsheet analysis skills.
• High motivation, solid work ethic and ability to multitask in a team environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities.
