Finance Manager – Consulting (South East Asia)

About the role

PWC South East Asia Consulting is seeking a Finance Manager to lead finance operations across its consulting practice. The role involves driving timely billing, collections, and financial reporting while supporting strategic decision‑making for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse aged WIP and receivables to ensure timely billing and collections.
• Oversee invoice approval and payment processing to meet deadlines.
• Review monthly financial reporting packs and provide KPI insights.
• Prepare management reports that highlight performance and support decision‑making.
• Manage weekly cash‑flow projections and update management on receipts and payments.
• Provide accounting and tax advice to business stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely corporate, statutory, and government reporting.
• Handle GST and tax compliance, including quarterly filings and annual returns.
• Produce periodic and on‑demand management information.
• Lead special projects to build support infrastructure and drive change.
• Act as the primary contact for accounting matters with internal and external parties.

Required profile

• Degree or ACCA (or equivalent professional accounting qualification) strongly desirable.
• 6–8 years of experience in statutory and management finance, preferably in professional services or consulting.
• Experience managing offshore accounting teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team‑player attitude, meticulous and organized.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
