Senior Associate/Manager – Deals Turnaround & Performance Improvement

About the role

PwC is expanding its Deals Advisory team in Singapore to help clients navigate complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and operational turnarounds. As a Senior Associate or Manager you will work on high‑profile assignments that focus on cost reduction, cash and working‑capital management, and broader performance‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of client data and operations under guidance.
• Assist in assessing and testing financial positions and forecasts.
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement turnaround, operational improvement, and cost‑reduction projects.
• Support strategic planning activities, including business‑case development and scenario testing.
• Help establish and maintain programme‑management offices.
• Prepare presentations and reports for client and internal stakeholders.
• Manage specific deliverables, monitor project risks, and contribute to project economics under supervision.
• Coach junior colleagues and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Support business‑development activities such as proposal preparation and client engagements.

Required profile

• Typically 5‑8 years of relevant experience in deals, turnaround or performance‑improvement engagements.
• Strong analytical capabilities and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior managers and client leadership.
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.
