Workplace Safety & Health Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Workplace Safety Health Officer to advise and assist the Project Manager on EHS matters and lead the safety team in implementing and monitoring environment, health and safety plans across our construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and assist the Project Manager on EHS matters.
• Lead the safety team in implementing and monitoring environment, health and safety plans/measures.
• Organise safety activities to raise safety awareness on site.
• Conduct risk assessments at project sites and recommend mitigation measures.
• Establish a strong safety culture to achieve project safety and health targets.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company safety rules and codes of practice.
• Implement and maintain the OSH management system and manage safety audits on site.

Required profile

• Degree/Master in Engineering (HSE) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification.
• Familiarity with construction site safety inspections and regulations.
• Good knowledge of ISO45001.
