Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive

About the role

Indiba Asia is seeking an Accounts Executive or Senior Accounts Executive to join its fast‑growing Singapore team. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end bookkeeping, financial reporting and supporting the company’s trading operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general bookkeeping, handling accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger functions.
• Maintain a full set of accounts, prepare financial schedules, and reconcile fixed assets, bank, inter‑company and GST accounts.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns and assist with annual audit and corporate tax filings.
• Execute monthly and year‑end closing, including journal entries for accruals, pre‑payments and inter‑company adjustments.
• Generate purchase orders, sales invoices, delivery orders, payments and receipts, and support general administrative tasks.
• Undertake ad‑hoc duties and assignments as directed by management.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a trading environment.
• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Meticulous, detail‑oriented and able to work independently with high responsibility.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with MYOB, ABSS or other ERP/accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
