Aerospace Technician

About the role

A full-time Aerospace Technician position based in Singapore's East Region. The role covers CNC programming, machine set-up and operation, quality inspection and equipment maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Create accurate CNC programs for aerospace components and parts
• Generate an optimal UHF vacuum recipe on ICAM software and simulate the Virtual Machine feature to check for collisions or gouges
• Set raw materials, load programs and choose the correct cutting tools
• Read and interpret route cards, setup sheets, technical blueprints and design models
• Monitor machines while running, adjust and troubleshoot as needed
• Perform maintenance and cleaning, inspect finished products against specifications and keep detailed records
• Train new staff on machine operation and clock SAP man hours
• Work safely and follow all safety procedures

Required profile

• Professional Certificate, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Able to work overtime or shifts when required
• Strong attention to detail, team player who can also work independently, proactive and eager to learn
