Asia Equity Sales

About the role

Macquarie is looking for a member of its Singaporean Equity Sales team to service domestic, regional and global institutional equity clients. Reporting to the Singapore Head of Equity Sales, the role sits in a supportive, high-performing team within an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Market equities to institutional funds across all geographies, with a focus on public equity funds in Singapore and the rest of Asia
• Work closely with equity research analysts, the regional sales team and sales traders globally
• Bring independent insights, write sales notes and work on analytical products that support buy-side decision making
• Develop and nurture client relationships, promote research, work on differentiated sales products and monetise those services

Required profile

• Excellent academic qualifications, ideally in finance, economics or a business discipline
• 3+ years of relevant experience in the Singapore equities market, with primary experience in institutional sales and existing institutional client relationships
• A proven track record of performance
• Fluency in English and Mandarin

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Commercial mindset to analyse industry trends, key stock ideas and corporate access
• Ability to take initiative, collaborate, multitask and show strong ownership
