Automation Tester - FSI (Contract)

About the role

Infosys Singapore & Australia is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant Automation Tester for its FSI banking and financial services practice in Singapore. The role designs, develops and executes automated tests that ensure the quality, stability and performance of applications, working in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile and API applications.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and best practices.
• Analyse requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to create effective test plans.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution across environments.
• Identify defects, document findings and work with developers to resolve issues, including root-cause analysis of automation failures.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, dashboards and documentation.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, reviews and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Appium.
• Experience in API test automation using REST Assured, Postman or Karate.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Git and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr or TestRail.
• Preferred: cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow), performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust), Docker and Kubernetes, and ISTQB certification.

The Automation Tester reduces manual testing effort, increases test coverage and improves product quality so that releases run smoothly and reliably.
