AVP Business Analyst – Capital Markets, Global Financial Markets Technology

About the role

The Assistant Vice President Business Analyst will lead end‑to‑end analysis and functional delivery of large‑scale Capital Markets initiatives within DBS Bank’s Global Financial Markets Technology division. You will work closely with Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance and Technology teams to translate complex market requirements into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business analysis and functional design for initiatives covering trade capture, pricing, valuation, market data, risk, settlement, accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Facilitate solution‑design workshops with senior stakeholders and resolve cross‑functional design issues.
• Translate complex product and data requirements into detailed functional specifications, data rules and integration needs.
• Perform impact assessments for new products, valuation model changes and market convention updates across the trade lifecycle.
• Support validation of valuation configurations and ensure correct market data inputs for quantitative models.
• Define functional design for treasury trade‑booking workflows, including validations, approvals, amendments and exception handling.

Required profile

• Significant experience in business analysis within Capital Markets or Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, pricing models, market data, risk and regulatory reporting.
• Proven ability to lead workshops and influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
