AVP Markets Operations – Precious Metals Logistics & Clearing Specialist

About the role

As an AVP in Markets Operations, you will lead the end‑to‑end processing of precious‑metal transactions for a leading Singapore bank. You will coordinate inventory, vault management and physical logistics while ensuring accurate clearing, reconciliation and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of precious‑metal trades, from validation and confirmation to settlement and exception handling.
• Coordinate physical metal movements with vaults, carriers and counterparties, maintaining chain‑of‑custody records.
• Reconcile internal inventory against vault and third‑party statements, escalating shortages or discrepancies.
• Perform trade, position, cash, margin, inventory and fee reconciliations for clearing arrangements.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched or incorrectly booked transactions within market and internal cut‑off times.
• Collaborate with front‑office, risk, legal and technology teams to mitigate operational risk and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Professional experience in precious‑metal logistics, vault management or clearing operations within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of market, counterparty and regulatory requirements for precious‑metal transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high‑volume transaction processing and problem resolution.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
