Butler Communications Specialist

About the role

Raffles Hotel Singapore, a historic 19th-century luxury hotel, is looking for a Butler Communications Specialist. The role supports the Butler team in delivering personalized guest experiences through pre-arrival preparation, guest profiling and proactive communication, acting as a central hub between Butler, Concierge, Guest Relations and Lobby Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily arrivals, focusing on VIPs, repeat guests and special occasions, and enrich guest profiles from available systems
• Prepare pre-arrival briefs and guest preference summaries, and contact guests before arrival where appropriate
• Coordinate Butler arrangements with Sales and Marketing, Marcom, Concierge, Lobby, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and In-Suite Dining
• Plan in-suite experiences, celebrations and personalized amenities, and handle guest requests including room-management software
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, reservation notes and correspondence, and track guest preferences and trends
• Support upsell strategies with Front Office and Reservations, and escalate guest concerns to the Director of Butler Operations
• Brief the Butler team on guest handover details and uphold brand SOPs, data privacy and WSH policies

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in Rooms Division, Reservations, Butler or Guest Relations
• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and organizational discipline
• Ability to analyze guest data and collaborate discreetly across departments

Required skills

• Familiarity with PMS systems such as Opera and guest profiling tools preferred
• Experience in a luxury environment is an advantage
