Food & Beverage Service Associate

About the role

Raffles Hotel Singapore, a historic 19th-century hotel, is hiring a Food & Beverage Service Associate to deliver friendly and efficient F&B service according to hotel Standard Operating Procedures and meet guest dining expectations. The role covers several outlets: In-Suite Dining/Pool Bar, Long Bar, Raffles Courtyard and Tiffin Room.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to guests, greet and farewell guests and colleagues courteously, and remember guest preferences for personalised service.
• Take and enter orders accurately in the Point of Sales system, double-check the order list before sending tickets to the kitchen, and verify guest satisfaction at each course.
• Offer menu options, drink service before, during and after meals, and actively engage in upselling.
• Maintain side stations, keep silverware, glassware and seating clean, mark tables correctly and account for all products served on the final bill.
• Clear tables between courses, pick up checks and report them at the end of the shift, and relay guest complaints to the manager.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in food preparation and service areas, and carry out ad-hoc duties such as cleaning equipment, exchanging linen and collecting requisitions.
• Follow the Heartist approach and align performance with Accor values.

Required profile

• Certificate or diploma in hospitality or a related field, or at least 6 months of hands-on food service experience.
• Retail or guest interaction experience.
• Knowledge of food and/or beverages (personal interest or professional).
• Reliable, consistent, able to work as part of a team, and guest-oriented.

Required skills

• Communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate openly and with integrity.
