Channel Development Manager - Employee Benefits

About the role

Prudential is hiring a Channel Development Manager to acquire incremental business for its Employee Benefits (EB) business. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Sales (Banca) and works closely with the Operations team to grow the Employee Benefits and Group Affinity Products through the Partnership Channel.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients for Employee Benefits and Group Affinity products to drive incremental business.
• Handle sales enquiries and generate leads for client acquisition via the Partnership Channel.
• Cold call as appropriate and plan approaches to pitch to potential clients.
• Achieve sales targets and deliverables.
• Attend meetings with banks' Relationship Managers and Insurance Specialists to meet key stakeholders and decision makers.
• Support account management: prepare sales materials, PowerPoint presentations, employee handbooks, client reports and renewals.
• Deliver presentations and employee communication sessions to clients.
• Manage client renewals by building strong relationships for sustainable business.
• Help develop the Partnership Channel strategy and implement key sales initiatives, new products, benefits and campaigns for EB, Group Affinity and EB2Life.
• Lead or initiate sales-related projects that support EB distribution and increase sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an employee benefits environment.
• Experience with group affinity products preferred; candidates with EB broking experience are welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• CMFAS M5, M9, M9A and HI certifications.
