Co-Founder & Medical Lead – Women's Health (Asia)

About the role

Stemba is building a women‑focused health platform for Asia and seeks a Co‑Founder & Medical Lead to shape its clinical credibility. This equity‑only position will guide product, content, and partnership strategy while working remotely with a fast‑moving early‑stage team.

Key responsibilities

• Review all brand and product content for medical accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Advise on product selection, development of an AI‑powered health‑tracking app, and integration of femtech devices.
• Support partnerships with OBGYNs, fertility clinics, and other healthcare providers across Asia.
• Contribute medical expertise to fundraising discussions and investor presentations.
• Help design an AI health‑tracking experience that reflects the lived realities of Asian women.

Required profile

• Female medical doctor or women’s health specialist (MD, MBBS or equivalent).
• Specialisation or deep experience in fertility, reproductive health, OB‑GYN, integrative medicine, or TCM.
• Fluent in Mandarin; additional Southeast Asian languages a strong advantage.
• Based in Asia with first‑hand knowledge of local women’s health narratives.
• Motivated to challenge the status‑quo and thrive in early‑stage ambiguity.
• Capable of working independently and remotely with a small team.

Required skills

• Medical expertise in women’s health and fertility.
• Knowledge of Asian healthcare systems and cultural contexts.
• Ability to evaluate and author medically accurate content.
• Experience advising product development in health tech.
• Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written).
