About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Data Centre Design Engineer / Design Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical (M&E) design of new and retro‑fit data centre facilities across Singapore. The role combines technical leadership with a sustainability focus, ensuring compliance with Tier III/IV standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop conceptual, schematic and detailed M&E designs for data centre projects.
- Coordinate multi‑disciplinary design teams and external consultants.
- Validate designs against Tier III/IV performance, reliability and sustainability criteria.
- Support capacity planning, load studies and energy‑optimisation initiatives.
- Provide technical support during construction, commissioning and hand‑over phases.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–12 years of experience in data centre or mission‑critical M&E design.
- Strong understanding of redundancy, cooling and power design principles.
- Experience with sustainable design and energy optimisation is preferred.
