Data Science Consultant – Marketing, Customer & Product

About the role

Sia, a global management consulting group founded in 1999, is recruiting a Data Science Consultant in Singapore to support its growth. You will join Sia's Data Science teams and work with client operational teams and marketing/product leaders to frame data needs, analyze data and deploy data science solutions that deliver measurable business impact, with a focus on luxury, consumer goods and retail use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Data analysis and strategic decision support: insights, measurement frameworks, experimentation and KPI design
• Machine learning, statistics and generative AI, from model design to deployment
• Data engineering and DevOps: data preparation pipelines, reproducibility and industrialization
• Data visualization and stakeholder-ready storytelling: dashboards and analytics apps
• Data transformation and enablement: data literacy, operating model and ways of working
• Contribute to internal development: offer building, training, communities of practice and R&D initiatives
• Thought leadership (articles, studies) and events, plus business development support such as needs definition, proposals and opportunity identification

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an engineering or business school, with specialization in data science, statistics and/or marketing analytics
• 1+ years of experience delivering data/analytics projects in a marketing, customer, product or strategy context; consulting experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of data science and machine learning algorithms (supervised/unsupervised learning, clustering, etc.)
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end and communicate clearly with stakeholders at different seniority levels

Required skills

• Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL, and solid data modelling foundations
• Nice to have: BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Python visualization frameworks (Dash/Plotly)
• Nice to have: Databricks (Jobs & Pipeline, Databricks Genie) and exposure to GCP, AWS and/or Azure
