Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit‑Out

About the role

We are seeking an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to support interior fit‑out projects across Singapore. The role involves preparing competitive tender submissions, managing subcontractor engagement and ensuring accurate cost estimates throughout the pre‑contract phase.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive and commercially viable tender submissions.
• Issue tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers and manage their responses.
• Review and input Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and prepare tender pricing documents.
• Verify quantities, conduct measurement checks and identify omissions or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to align tender submissions with RFP and client requirements.
• Recommend value‑engineering or cost‑saving alternatives where appropriate.
• Manage tender addenda and ensure pricing reflects the latest information.
• Compile preliminary cost estimates, evaluate quotations and prepare commercial analysis reports.
• Support post‑tender negotiations and handover to the project delivery team.

Required profile

• Relevant tender or pre‑contract experience in fitting‑out or construction projects.
• Proven ability to prepare BOQ, quantity take‑off, tender pricing and quotation comparison.
• Familiarity with subcontractor and supplier sourcing, tender enquiries and documentation.
• Strong eye for identifying discrepancies, omissions, project risks and cost‑saving opportunities.
