About the role
IKEA Jurong in Singapore is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for a 1-year full-time contract. You will serve customers behind the hot line and prepare hot and cold dishes while keeping the food preparation area clean and safe.
Key responsibilities
- Serve customers behind the hot line with a smile
- Prepare hot and cold dishes such as chicken wings, soup, salads and desserts
- Make sure products and condiments are stocked, in good condition and replenished on time
- Prepare and man the pick-up point for online orders
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards and follow food safety and hygiene practices
Required profile
- Sales driven and passionate about food
- Enthusiastic about working in a team
- Enjoys a vibrant retail environment
- Confident in approaching and talking to people in a friendly manner
- Good attention to detail, able to prioritise and organise work efficiently
