Food & Beverage Service Executive (Raffles Courtyard)

About the role

Raffles Courtyard is the alfresco bar and lounge of Raffles Hotel Singapore, offering summer drinks, Singaporean dishes, Southeast Asian tapas and Peranakan cuisine in a landscaped courtyard. The Food & Beverage Service Executive supervises team members, helps manage the outlet's operations and service standards, and contributes to its financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent, high-quality service to guests and supervise a station or section in the restaurant, keeping it well-stocked and tidy.
• Take orders accurately, double-check them before sending to the kitchen, and record seat cover positions and allergens in the Point of Sale system.
• Offer menu options, drink service before, during and after meals, and upsell products.
• Remember guests' names and preferences, verify satisfaction at each table, and handle minor complaints.
• Settle bills correctly, pick up checks, and follow opening and closing duties.
• Mentor and train colleagues, guide new hires, and ensure fire safety, hygiene and NEA compliance.
• Report service issues to the manager and uphold the hotel's values and corporate social responsibility.
