Global System Administrator (Microsoft Exchange & Entra ID)

About the role

Vitol, an energy group with offices worldwide, is looking for a hands-on System Administrator to join its in-house IT team. The role focuses on keeping messaging and identity platforms secure, reliable and modern, centred on Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and Exchange Online), Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure and Entra ID. It is a collaborative, operational position where cultural fit matters as much as technical skill.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and troubleshoot on-premises Exchange Server 2019 SE and Exchange Online
• Plan and run mailbox and workload migrations from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online, including hybrid coexistence, mail flow and cutover
• Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, mail-enabled groups, mail flow and mail licensing
• Perform mailbox and mail tasks in Entra ID and support messaging/M365 integration with SSO/federation (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML) under IAM team policies
• Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and hybrid identity (AD Connect)
• Provide day-to-day operational support and escalation from the helpdesk for incidents, changes and problems
• Uphold security, compliance, patching and audit readiness
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell

Required profile

• Based in Singapore with valid working rights
• Proven hands-on administration of on-premises Exchange 2019, not just troubleshooting or support
• Demonstrable personal experience planning and delivering migrations from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online
• Experience supporting an internal enterprise IT environment and its end users; SI, consulting or project-only experience is not a fit
• Collaborative team player comfortable in a steady-state in-house IT function, willing to work outside normal hours and travel when required
