Head of Data and Intelligence, SEAA

About the role

CHANEL SEAA is looking for a Head of Data and Intelligence to lead the region's enterprise data and AI agenda. The role steers the regional data portfolio, turns AI use cases into measurable value and drives data literacy and adoption across the region. It works with business divisions, corporate functions and technology teams to deliver fit-for-purpose data and AI products, and sets up the governance and architecture needed for data and AI to be embedded in business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the SEAA Data and AI roadmap, set clear objectives and success measures, and identify high-value opportunities where data, analytics and AI strengthen client understanding and business excellence.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, translate business needs into data priorities, and turn insights into compelling business narratives.
• Govern the regional Data and Intelligence portfolio, including BAU data activities, and manage prioritization, delivery, resources, risks and stakeholder communication.
• Guide data and AI architecture and platform strategy in line with Global and Technology teams, steering adoption toward targets such as Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, and ensuring interoperable data models, pipelines and AI solutions.
• Partner with Technology, Legal, Global Data and business teams to embed data governance, data quality, common definitions, ownership, access principles and privacy awareness, and to promote responsible AI.
• Champion data literacy, build adoption of data products and AI solutions, and coach and develop the SEAA Data and Intelligence team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Data Strategy, Analytics, Business Intelligence and AI transformation, with a track record of leading a Data and AI roadmap.
• Demonstrated experience managing analytics products, BI platforms, client intelligence, AI/GenAI use cases and BAU data services across a regional or multi-market environment.
• Ability to define and lead a Data and AI roadmap and to translate data and technology complexity into commercial value.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of the modern data ecosystem, including cloud data platforms, BI and visualization tools, Machine Learning and GenAI.
• Able to challenge, guide and lead technical teams with credibility.
