Head of Strategic Finance Projects

About the role

As the Head of Strategic Finance Projects you will reshape Avaloq’s global finance operations, linking Finance, IT and business teams to build modern, scalable systems that support future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a robust project‑management structure for Finance using industry‑standard methodologies.
• Design and lead the end‑to‑end consolidation of two legacy on‑prem systems into a single cloud‑based solution.
• Act as a change agent, championing “simplification first” and driving automation of lean processes.
• Deliver real‑time insight capabilities so Finance can act as a strategic advisor.
• Mentor the strategic projects team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior finance‑technology role, preferably within a banking software provider.
• Successful delivery of at least one full ERP migration to the cloud.
• Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to translate complex data into clear business language.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across global teams.
