Housekeeping Attendant (Public Area)

About the role

Raffles Hotel Singapore, a historic 19th-century hotel, is hiring a Housekeeping Attendant (Public Area) on a full-time basis. The post keeps all public areas, guest lobbies and restrooms immaculate and inviting, following the hotel's standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and set up public areas, guest lobbies and restrooms according to the hotel's SOPs.
• Keep suites comfortable and clean.
• Communicate issues and abnormalities to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Assistant Housekeeper.
• Deliver service that meets brand SOP, local SOP and Leading Quality Assurance standards.
• Anticipate guests' needs discreetly and promptly, and report lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
• Maintain pantries and work areas, keep equipment clean and in good working order, and follow WSH policies.
• Follow sustainable practices, take part in team meetings and perform any additional duties assigned.

Required profile

• Primary school education.
• Service-oriented with an eye for detail, able to work efficiently and independently under pressure.
• Self-motivated; English written and spoken is ideal but not necessary.
• Experience with machinery is ideal but not necessary.
