Intern – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

Lonza is looking for an intern to join its site in Singapore Tuas. You will gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and support the team in day-to-day operations, covering Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Development Services, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT). Daily supervision and step-by-step guidance are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the principles and processes behind fill and finish operations for pharmaceutical products
• Ensure strict adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety regulations in all activities
• Help develop standard working procedures in line with company policies
• Work with team members to identify and troubleshoot process issues
• Support task organisation and documentation, and receive coaching on process flow in a cGMP environment

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in biomedical science, pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, chemical engineering or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A passion and desire to learn

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
