Java L3 Support Engineer (Banking Domain)

About the role

Infosys is hiring a Java L3 Support Engineer focused on banking applications, based in Singapore. The role provides Level 3 support for Java-based banking systems and requires 5+ years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support for Java-based banking applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, keeping downtime to a minimum.
• Monitor and manage batch jobs using Autosys and other scheduling tools.
• Work with Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) for data processing and analysis.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and DevOps teams on system improvements.
• Support incident management, change requests and performance optimization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot and microservices expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Autosys and batch processing.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark and Hive.
• SQL, Oracle or other relational database expertise.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem and change management).
• Strong debugging, log analysis and performance tuning skills.

Nice to have

• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in banking or financial applications.
