Lead Auditor - Digital Trust (ISMS, AI, Data Protection, Cybersecurity)

About the role

SGS, a global testing, inspection and certification company, is hiring a Lead Auditor in Singapore for its Digital Trust segment. You will lead third- and second-party audits applying expertise in information security management systems (ISMS), artificial intelligence management systems (AIMS), data protection and cybersecurity requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Direct audit teams and carry out initial certification and surveillance audits with professionalism and consistency
• Enforce compliance with SGS global and local procedures for assigned products and areas of expertise
• Carry out customised audits in line with SGS Business Assurance requirements
• Design and deliver training programmes within your area of expertise
• Share market intelligence on emerging trends and business opportunities with management
• Meet performance targets by submitting reports on time and resolving queries effectively
• Work with the Product Manager to implement assigned standards and meet client and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, engineering or a related discipline, with at least five years of relevant professional experience
• Degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, electrical or electronic engineering or another relevant technical discipline
• At least two years of relevant IT experience, preferably in information security, cybersecurity, data protection or AI governance
• Broad auditing experience across industries, preferably in IT, information security, AI, data protection or cybersecurity
• Effective communication and negotiation with clients, audit teams and internal stakeholders, independent work and sound judgement

Required skills

• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor qualification (required)
• Preferred: ISO/IEC 42001 or other Digital Trust standards training or auditor qualifications
• Experience leading audit teams and delivering certification or surveillance audits
• Advantageous: qualified auditor status for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
