About the role
KONE is seeking a Learning & Development Business Partner to lead L&D initiatives for its frontline teams in Singapore. You will partner with business leaders and HR to shape learning strategies that enhance technical and non‑technical competencies across field, sales, and leadership functions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cluster and local leaders to define and execute the frontline L&D agenda.
- Consult on development needs, design learning solutions, and deliver targeted training programs.
- Manage the delivery of technical, safety, and compliance training through the Workday LMS and other platforms.
- Oversee subcontractor certification programs, ensuring all safety and method passports are current.
- Own apprentice program administration and drive its continuous improvement.
- Maintain internal trainer networks, coach mentors, and coordinate 360‑degree leadership assessments.
- Act as project manager for specific learning projects such as induction renewals.
- Monitor training KPIs, data accuracy, and provide recommendations for operational excellence.
Required profile
- Post‑graduate qualification in engineering, safety, technical or behavioural science, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Learning & Development, preferably in a field‑technical environment.
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders and drive learning initiatives.
- Strong project management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
