Management Trainee - Guest Experience

About the role

Pullman Singapore Orchard, a 5-star hotel, is recruiting a Management Trainee (Guest Experience). The trainee takes part in a 12-month training programme covering the Front Office Department and is groomed for future supervisory and managerial roles, depending on performance, potential and aptitude.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in a structured training programme covering the hotel's operations, policies, procedures and management practices, possibly with rotations across departments
• Attend workshops, mandatory training and other in-house learning opportunities
• Learn about the industry, market dynamics and competitive landscape
• Assist managers and supervisors with projects and initiatives, working with cross-functional teams
• Analyse workflows and procedures to find bottlenecks and suggest improvements
• Prepare reports, presentations and documentation for management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with colleagues, seek feedback and take ownership of personal development

Required profile

• Diploma, preferably in hospitality or a related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience or in customer service
• Strong written and spoken English, and the ability to communicate in a second language
• Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Self-motivated, able to prioritise work and respond to change
