Manager, Country Project Management - Core Banking Rollout
Fuku · Singapore
Job description
About the role
Fuku is looking for a Manager, Country Project Management for its core banking system rollout across APAC. The role acts as the bridge between Regional and Country teams, leading cross-release coordination and keeping an end-to-end view of country activities, dependencies, risks, issues and decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cross-release coordination across multiple releases and maintain an end-to-end view of country activities, dependencies, risks, issues and decisions.
- Manage and structure country-level issues by assessing business impact, urgency, response dates and downstream dependencies.
- Coordinate with Regional teams, country stakeholders, Centre of Excellence (CoE) experts and vendors to resolve issues and make timely decisions.
- Maintain integrated issue, risk, action and decision logs with clear ownership, deadlines and escalation paths.
- Develop solution options, recommendations and interim workarounds to keep projects running while decisions are pending.
- Communicate Regional decisions and requirements to Country teams and run regular progress, risk and issue reviews.
- Turn recurring issues into improvement initiatives and help strengthen Regional standards, guidelines and governance.
- Define RACI, decision rights, escalation routes and responsibility boundaries, and prepare management reports for stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management, PMO, business analysis or transformation delivery, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Experience in core banking transformation, renewal or regional/APAC rollout programs.
- Knowledge of banking operations such as Trade Finance, Lending, Payments, Cash Management, Treasury & Markets, Deposits or Accounting.
- Experience with a CoE, governance, standardisation or knowledge-management function.
- Proven experience managing complex issues, risks, dependencies and escalations in large-scale system implementations.
Required skills
- Stakeholder management and facilitation across Regional, Country, business, IT and vendor teams.
- Integrated planning, cross-workstream coordination, RACI design and management reporting.
- Ability to develop solution options and recommendations, not just forward issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for project tracking and reporting.
