About the role
A leading global marketing and PR agency is seeking a junior PR Account Executive to join its growing team in Singapore. The recruiter, We Are Aspire, acts as an employment agency for this vacancy. The position is permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Pitch stories to journalists by email, phone and other means
- Write copy for social posts, press releases and blogs
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Join client and spokesperson calls, suggesting ideas and angles
- Develop your own media and influencer contacts within an allocated budget
- Handle account admin: news monitoring, reports and press lists
- Contribute to campaign and story ideas
- Support new business pitches, research and proposals
- Research creative ideas, competitors and industry trends
- Assist with digital marketing, including ad copy and audience planning
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, PR, Communications or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience; fresh graduates are welcome
- Experience managing client campaigns in an agency or communications setting
- Creative thinker with a passion for integrated communications
- Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to high-quality work
- Strong interest in client sectors and awareness of industry trends
- Excellent communication skills
