Principal - Banking and Financial Services

About the role

Infosys Consulting, a global consulting and transformation firm and wholly owned subsidiary of Infosys Ltd., is hiring a Principal for its Banking and Financial Services practice in Singapore. The role supports a major client in delivering value to its customers under a new operating model and regulatory changes brought about by Open Banking and, in the future, the Royal Commission. The Principal pursues and grows deep client relationships at executive and senior management level, leads critical engagements and contributes to the development of the APAC practice.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme governance and ensure deliverables are completed on time and in scope, using Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid delivery methods
• Contribute to developing frameworks and methodologies with a consulting mindset
• Oversee the quality of programme deliverables through quality assurance and quality gates, ensuring adherence to standards and SDLC governance
• Take ownership of own activities with minimal supervision and manage ad hoc workload flexibly
• Prepare meeting invites, decks and agendas, circulate minutes and follow up on action items
• Facilitate or lead discussions with project stakeholders and drive specific agenda items
• Manage reporting and use tracking tools such as Confluence, Azure DevOps (ADO) and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Carry out other administrative tasks as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services (must have)
• About 5-10 years of experience (preferable)
• Experience in Business Analysis or Project Management, including planning, reporting and delivery governance
• Exposure to different project methodologies (preferable)
• Detail-oriented and analytical, able to work in a dynamic environment
• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills (must have)

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for reports and trackers (must have)
• Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and/or Hybrid project delivery methods
