Principal Banking & Financial Services Consultant

About the role

Infosys Consulting, a global consulting and transformation firm and wholly owned subsidiary of Infosys Ltd., is hiring a Senior Principal in its Banking and Financial Services vertical in Singapore. The role focuses on helping a major client deliver value to its customers within the context of a new operating model and regulatory changes brought about by Open Banking and, in the future, the Royal Commission. You will lead complex engagements, work at the executive and senior management level, and act as a key leader in the APAC firm.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex engagements and collaborate to identify, sell and deliver consulting projects on strategies and plans for strategic transformation.
• Develop diagnostics, strategies, roadmaps and business cases for technology-enabled transformations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, network with industry experts and forums, and contribute to the firm through recruitment, mentoring, training and intellectual property generation (POVs, whitepapers).
• Deliver consulting engagements that meet agreed time, budgetary and quality measures, while contributing to revenue, utilization targets and practice development.

Required profile

• Deep banking experience, including digital banking and emerging technologies; FinTech and Financial Crime & Risk Management experience highly regarded.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders (Director, GM) and be recognised as an industry thought leader.
• Experience in IT advisory, such as developing IT strategy, technology plans and frameworks, and aligning architecture with business vision.
• Delivery and ideally business development experience in business transformation.
• Tertiary qualification in a related field; MBA preferred.
