Principal – Private Capital

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Principal to lead private capital consulting engagements across financial services and related industries in Singapore. The role involves day‑to‑day leadership of complex client projects, building trusted advisor relationships, and contributing to the firm’s thought leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex client projects, ensuring on‑time delivery and high‑quality outcomes.
• Develop hypotheses, manage data collection, create models, and conduct primary and secondary research.
• Support Partners in project delivery and business development activities.
• Own and develop executive client relationships, presenting insights to senior audiences.
• Mentor and develop junior consulting staff, fostering a strong personal brand within and outside the firm.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience, preferably at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm or in a project‑based, team‑oriented environment.
• Proven track record of leading teams or work streams and delivering under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills with deep knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, confident with senior executives.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program and willingness to travel.
