QA/QC Engineer – Civil Engineering (Oil & Petrochemical)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and control activities on civil engineering projects within the oil and petrochemical sector. The role is based on Jurong Island, Pulau Bukom or other project sites as required.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary QA/QC adviser on‑site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
• Develop, plan and implement QA/QC procedures, documents and inspection programmes.
• Conduct quality inspections, audits and ensure compliance with local construction regulations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects and vendors on quality matters.
• Supervise site crews, monitor subcontractor performance and enforce health‑and‑safety standards.
• Prepare and submit regular quality reports and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in oil & petrochemical environments.
• Strong understanding of construction quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
