Quality Control Inspector - Precision Engineering

About the role

A leading precision engineering and solutions provider in Singapore is hiring a permanent, full-time Quality Control Inspector for its manufacturing site in the South West area, near Buroh. The inspector checks parts against specifications and keeps the inspection process compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and functional inspection of First Article, incoming, in-process and outgoing parts according to work instructions, ensuring components and products meet specifications.
• Ensure equipment and tools used for inspection comply with calibration and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintain control of the manufacturing environment and perform gowning as necessary.
• Record inspection data, monitoring data and other data in line with records control requirements.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• At least O-Level, Pre-U/A-Level, college, professional certificate or NITEC qualification in any field.
• At least 2 years of work experience as an inspector in a machine shop.
• Good interpersonal skills, organised and self-disciplined.

Required skills

• Proficiency with regular measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Capability to operate a CMM is an advantage.

What we offer

• Pay of SGD 3,000 to 5,000.
• Working hours Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30 and Saturday 08:30-12:30.
