About the role
The Safety Officer cum ECO will ensure compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulations while driving continuous improvement of the safety management system on construction sites.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and monitor statutory safety acts, company rules, and codes of practice.
- Review and update the safety management system to align with local legislation.
- Conduct safety training, audits, and monthly WSH and toolbox meetings.
- Manage risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Liaise with authorities, advise project leadership, and ensure proper documentation and PTW compliance.
Required profile
- Registered WSHO and ECO.
- 5‑8 years of experience in construction projects.
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health or a related field.
