Senior Analyst, Capital Management (J-ESR)

About the role

Singlife is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Capital Management function, focusing on Japanese Economic Value‑based Solvency (J‑ESR) reporting and analysis. You will play a key part in ensuring the firm’s solvency, profitability and liquidity risk are well‑managed and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Report on Japanese Economic Value‑based Solvency (J‑ESR) and perform movement analysis of capital resources.
• Prepare validation reports, statistics for Individual Insurer Monitoring and external credit rating evaluation.
• Conduct stress testing, sensitivity analysis and business planning for insurance portfolios.
• Regularly value portfolios, assess reserve adequacy and submit regulatory and internal solvency reports.
• Provide insights into the organisation’s financial position to support sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of actuarial experience in life and health valuation.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Risk Based Capital (RBC) 2; experience with the Insurance Capital Standard (ICS) is a plus.
• Self‑driven, able to motivate team members and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
