Senior Analyst Programmer (HRMS/Payroll)

About the role

Unit4, a cloud company with over 40 years of heritage focused on ERP software for mid-market organisations, is looking for a Senior Analyst Programmer to own the technical development, security and maintenance of its core Human Resources Management System (HRMS). The role covers several HR systems: Time Management (TMS), Payroll Management (PMS), Leave Management (LMS) and other HR modules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software functions in line with organisational architectural standards and design principles.
• Write unit tests and implement code for user stories using test-driven development.
• Work in an agile Scrum framework, taking part in daily sprint meetings, development and test case reviews.
• Analyse the root causes of system defects and deliver sustainable fixes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development and systems analysis.
• Knowledge of regional payroll systems and regulations across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, China, Vietnam, Macau, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
• Expertise in payroll processing, time and attendance, leave management and claims processing best practices.
• Understanding of HRMS legislation and regulations, and proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum and test-driven development.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
