Senior Assistant / Assistant Manager - Planning & Risk Management

About the role

Nanyang Polytechnic is looking for a Senior Assistant or Assistant Manager for its Planning & Risk Management Department. The role plays an integral part in shaping and driving the polytechnic's strategic and institutional planning, turning emerging trends and priorities into coherent strategies and plans, monitoring performance and providing insights for management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and review of NYP's strategic direction by analysing external trends, engaging stakeholders and assessing strategic priorities.
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of strategic priorities and workplans, and help align strategy, plans and outcomes across units.
• Drive institution-level planning and engagement activities such as the annual work planning process, management retreats and townhalls.
• Analyse institutional performance data to identify trends and gaps, and turn them into clear implications for leadership decisions on strategy, risk and operations.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in strategic planning or corporate planning.
• Experience working in the public sector is preferred.
