Senior CDD Risk Analyst

About the role

Adyen is seeking a Senior CDD Risk Analyst to lead high‑complexity risk reviews for enterprise customers. The role combines deep compliance expertise with cross‑functional collaboration to balance risk mitigation and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end case management for high‑risk customers, including due‑diligence, ownership analysis and regulatory compliance within strict timelines.
• Maintain quality standards by performing regular checks, coaching peers and ensuring “first‑time‑right” decision making.
• Lead calibration sessions to translate compliance requirements into daily workflows and continuously improve SOPs.
• Act as primary liaison between commercial teams and customers, balancing risk controls with strategic growth.
• Partner with product and team leads to implement perpetual KYC and upcoming AML regulations.

Required profile

• 6+ years experience in CDD, KYC, EDD or equivalent second‑line risk/compliance roles within FinTech, PSP or financial institutions.
• Proven ability to evaluate complex corporate structures, offshore entities and multi‑jurisdictional AML/CFT standards.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of EU AMLR changes, perpetual KYC and related regulatory developments.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to identify trends and drive automated risk solutions.
