Senior Consultant - FSI (DevOps Lead)

About the role

Infosys is looking for a DevOps Lead to design, implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure for banking applications. The role sits in the banking and financial services domain and requires knowledge of regulatory compliance and security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the DevOps strategy and implementation across banking applications and environments.
• Design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Implement and monitor Kafka-based streaming for real-time transaction processing.
• Ensure reliability and performance with observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana and Prometheus.
• Collaborate with development, QA and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Drive improvements in deployment speed, uptime and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Lead or Senior DevOps Engineer in banking or financial services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Expertise in Kafka streaming architecture and implementation.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Monitoring and logging tools: Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, ELK stack.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, etc.
• Preferred: Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or cloud certifications, service mesh (Istio), and banking-specific security and compliance knowledge.
