Senior Customer Representative, Veterinary Products Sales

About the role

The Sales Executive leads the sales effort for MSD's portfolio of veterinary products in the Singapore market. The role suits someone with a strong background in veterinary science or healthcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and meet market needs. It combines driving sales growth with providing technical and scientific information to support product development and to engage veterinary practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and scientific information for new product development and registration, and act as a resource for veterinarians with accurate product information.
• Visit veterinary clinics and hospitals on a planned schedule to promote and present product benefits and usage.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and feedback from the veterinary community to inform product positioning, marketing and product release.
• Support product launches with market insights and ensure marketing materials align with the scientific data given to veterinarians.
• Update product development and post-launch progress in NPD meetings and give weekly updates to stakeholders.
• Engage Key Opinion Leaders to support corporate projects and gain insight into industry trends.
• Deliver training content for internal and external sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in veterinary science, healthcare or another science-related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the healthcare business, focused on veterinary products; vet nurses preferred.
• Fluency in the local language and ideally in English, written and spoken.
• Valid driving licence; hybrid work arrangement.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, convincing, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in office productivity tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Account management, market analysis, competitor analysis, product knowledge and product marketing.
