Senior Finance Executive – Accounts Receivable

About the role

NTU Shared Services Finance is looking for a Senior Finance Executive to manage the accounts receivable function for student housing. You will ensure accurate billing, collections and disbursements, supporting students and parents throughout their financial journey.

Key responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely disbursements, collections and payments related to student housing.
• Ensure hostel fee charging and collections comply with NTU policies and guidelines.
• Post journal entries for revenue, expenses and payments; support month‑end closing activities.
• Respond to student and parent queries via multiple communication channels.
• Prepare month‑end reports and reconciliations.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and workflow streamlining.

Required profile

• Minimum degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting.
• At least 5 years of relevant finance or accounts‑receivable experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and perform well under pressure.
• Service‑oriented, meticulous, analytical and proactive.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of independent and collaborative work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Query and Power Automate.
