Senior H&B Consulting Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health Consulting team at Mercer in Singapore. This hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office and focuses on helping clients make informed decisions about employee health and benefits programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to collect data in line with project requirements.
• Conduct benefits benchmarking, claims analysis, feasibility assessments and cost‑benefit analysis to support plan design decisions.
• Support Health Consultants and Senior Consultants with new business opportunities and sales channel partners.
• Use Mercer Health tools and products effectively to complete project tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Marsh McLennan businesses and Mercer teams to develop intellectual capital for webinars, forums, publications and points of view.
• Guide and train junior analysts as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits or a transferable in‑house HR/benefits role.
• Well‑developed data cleaning, analysis and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to collate and analyse large amounts of data.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain any required licences in line with state regulations and Mercer policies.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power Query, VBA, R or Python.
