Senior Scientific Program Manager

About the role

Program Management is a service-focused team at Lonza dedicated to executing customer projects that deliver new and existing bioscience products. The Senior Scientific Program Manager translates customer needs into plans, coordinates execution, manages cross-functional teams and monitors client relationship health. The position is based at the Tuas site in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the interface between the customer and Lonza to ensure execution and delivery meet both parties' expectations.
• Serve as the primary internal contact for questions on contractual obligations and client relationship health, with detailed knowledge of agreements such as Development, Commercial and Quality.
• Support client-facing activities for media development and non-GMP pilot at the regional bioscience facility.
• Support top regional testing clients by coordinating relationship health, risks and issues, escalations and new system installs.
• Manage new and retained product supply for assigned clients using PM tools such as Planview and Omni.
• Provide timely demand signals through SAP IBP forecasting as required by product type and client.
• Coordinate client visits and business reviews, and carry out other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in a life sciences-related field or equivalent experience with commercial acumen or project planning experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in an FDA-regulated biotech or pharma environment, in a client relationship or project-focused capacity.
• Relevant business and customer interaction experience in a life science CDMO environment.
• Knowledge of clinical research strongly preferred; experience moving pharmaceutical products from clinical to commercial manufacturing is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills at a high level, and strong soft skills to build relationships with customers, key accounts and program management.
