SharePoint and M365 Technical Architect

About the role

Accenture is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to lead the architecture, modernization, migration and delivery of enterprise collaboration solutions across SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server (on-premises), Microsoft 365 and Power Platform. The architect acts as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business and technical requirements into secure, scalable architectures and providing hands-on leadership across the full solution lifecycle. The role requires extensive SharePoint migration experience with ShareGate and experience delivering projects for Singapore government agencies in Government Cloud and Whole-of-Government (WOG) environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery for SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, Microsoft 365 and digital workplace transformation programmes
• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, secure and cost-effective architectures, and define current-state and target-state designs, roadmaps and migration strategies
• Design SharePoint information architecture, on-premises farms and hybrid solutions, and lead migrations from legacy SharePoint, file shares and other repositories to SharePoint Online or newer SharePoint Server
• Use ShareGate extensively and guide the selection of other migration tools
• Design Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) and integrations with Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Entra ID, Graph and line-of-business systems
• Advise on Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio readiness, governance and adoption
• Apply M365 and SharePoint governance, cybersecurity, compliance, records management and data residency principles, aligned with Singapore public-sector requirements
• Produce architecture documents, designs, runbooks, test strategies and architecture decision records, and lead workshops, proofs of concept and client presentations
• Mentor team members and contribute to standards, accelerators and reference architectures

Required profile

• Minimum 10-15 years of IT consulting, architecture, solution delivery and technical leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience as a Technical or Solution Architect for enterprise SharePoint and Microsoft 365 programmes
• Experience delivering Singapore government-sector projects in Government Cloud and WOG environments
• Ability to facilitate architecture workshops with senior stakeholders and communicate complex decisions to executives and business audiences
